This album contains a completely remastered rendition of the classic 2012 release Too. Featuring Langston Masingale's (Illumination) invention Zulu (the world's first passive analog tape simulator) this remastered version features a distinct analog flavor and vibe that is truer to The Goonies' original vision and motif for Too. Phatter drums, bolder sounds, thicker vocals, smooth tones, this remaster is in many ways a love letter to The Goonies artistic vision and purpose.
Mastering duties were once again helmed by Tod Levine, a multitalented audio engineer, who in the very early days, recorded a group of wayward kids from The South Bronx, known as KRS One, BDP, Eric B and Rakim, among many others. Tod's expert ear as an archiver and creative resource proved invaluable for the original master pressing of Too in 2012, which went on to win a Sammy in 2013 for Best Hip Hop Album.
In a more complete and slightly less edited presentation, please enjoy the official remaster of The Goonies Too.

Our town, you gave birth to us and so in turn we gave birth to this music. Peace.
